About Us

Iron Horse Academy Philosophy
Our goal is to use the sport of wrestling as a vehicle to help develop and enhance the skills that are important for a successful life.  Iron Horse will be an educational experience and by using specific training tools we will develop confident, disciplined and skillful athletes.  We want to provide a safe and functional environment where participants of all ages can grow and thrive both mentally and physically.  Our coaches:
 
Bryan Stout - Iron Horse-Head Coach/Club Director

  • 2x EWL champ (2nd twice)
  • 2x PSAC champ (2nd, 3rd)
  • 2x All Star Classic participant
  • EWL Hall of Fame member
  • Clarion University Hall of Fame member

High-School

  • 3x district champ (2nd once)
  • 3x regional champ (3rd once)
  • 3x place winner states (1st, 2nd, 5th)
  • Runner-up Jr. National Freestyle Championships
  • 117 wins; School’s first state champ; 32-0 senior year; did not allow any points scored against in senior year except 2 penalty points; All wins by tech fall or pin except one, which was a major decision

  • In over 20 years developing sports specific training and nutrition programs, Paul has worked with leading College and Professional Coaches, Consultants and Elite-level Athletes and trained numerous College All Americans, High School State Champions and Place-Winners.
  • Paul integrated his extensive Wrestling, Olympic Weightlifting and Strength coaching experience to develop ETW.
  • ETW is a functional training program designed specifically for Wrestlers. ETW incorporates Olympic Weightlifting in an advanced training protocol to ensure Wrestlers develop maximum power and explosiveness that translates directly to improved performance on the mat.
 

In addition to our main coaching staff we will have current division I wrestlers and All-Americans teach sessions.  We will also utilize top coaches from the college and high-school ranks.

 
All wrestlers need valid USA Wrestling card good for 1 year
